Sweet baby girl

This is a little peak from my session this morning with a soon-to-be one-year-old. She was such a cutie. Her sweet cheeks and gorgeous eyes had me charmed from the beginning! BBQ

Last month I was commissioned to document a large family gathering in honor of a wedding weekend. This was a casual bbq dinner held the night before the rehearsal dinner. It was a fun night of catching up with out-of-town relatives, family games, and kids running around everywhere. It was great! Here is a little sampling from the evening. Enjoy! --Sally

Father and Son

Back at the Jefferson

Last month I met up with this couple to take some casual portraits around the Jefferson Memorial. It is probably my favorite monument for portraits. There are so many wonderful areas around it, not to mention the monument itself is pretty fantastic. All that marble and the columns! Though we did get to the Jefferson, I'm posting images from our walk around the monument. I had a wonderful time! Enjoy, Sally

I love how this shot turned out. We were underneath 395 and it was so grimy, but the light and shadows were so lovely.

Junior League of Washington

Last night I had the pleasure of heading over to the Junior League of Washington's headquarters to take some images for the committee planning the annual Holiday Shops event held every November in DC. This is the 50th anniversary of the event and I was honored to help them out. Mark your calendars now for the weekend of November 21-23 to experience one of DC's favorite holiday shopping events! DC

A good friend of mine was moving last month and wanted to get some photos taken around the mall. She spent much of her career here working on the Hill so we made at stop at the Capitol too. Here are a few favorites from the evening. --Sally

Ft. Ward Park

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting up with this family for a photo session at Ft. Ward Park. We had fun playing with the cannons and enjoying the May sunshine. There was just a tiny breeze and it still felt like springtime. Such a contrast to this weekend's weather. Enjoy! --Sally
